################
Introductions
################

Botta is an Egyptian Arabic dialect chatbot. The AIML files included
in this package were created by Dana Abu Ali and Nizar Habash in the
Computational Approaches to Modeling Language (CAMeL) Lab. The effort
was based on the AIML files of the chatbot Rosie (GNU General Public
License - https://github.com/pandorabots/rosie) within the Pandorabots
framework. Botta is available to chat with live on Pandorabots'
Clubhouse - Title Botts / BotID "dana33/botta".

################
This Directory
################

The directory include this readme file (REAMD.txt), a copy of the Botta research
paper (Botta-Paper.pdf) and a subdirectory including the various AIML
files (Botta-AIML-files).

In Botta-AIML-files, there are 41 files:

  19 .aiml
  13 .set
   5 .substitution
   3 .map
   1 .properties

################
How to Run Botta
################

The AIML files included in this release can be used with any AIML
interpreter in principle; however, it was only tested with
Pandorabots' system.
